Two sweet boys and their sweet mama – this shoot was for Mel and her boys Aidan, two and a half, and Nathaniel, four weeks. Three people who look so much alike you could almost accuse Mel of performing some secret human cloning – almost the only thing setting the two boys apart is Nathaniel’s pretty adorable case of microtia in his right ear. Mel is an old friend of mine, and her only brief for this session was to have no photos with her in them. Well, unfortunately for Mel, Nathaniel was having NONE of that, and refused to be put down awake for more than two seconds. Sorry, Mel, it seems you can’t always get what you want. Your dashing good looks couldn’t be kept away from my lens forever!
Neither of the boys were having a particularly good day (a phenomenon I will expand on in a later post), so capturing the sweetness of a new baby and the exuberance of a toddler was not the easiest feat, but after many cuddles, cups of tea, and quiet moments up in their beautiful mountain home, they opened up a little and let me in to their world. Thanks, boys.
Nathaniel’s little old man face does me in every time. And does Aidan not have the funkiest toddler room you have ever seen?
WoW!!! just DEVINE….love! love! Love! all the images, what a treasure to have xxxx
