Portrait shoot – Karen and her redheads

This shoot with Karen, David and their three gorgeous kids was so much fun. It was a miserable, rainy day, so I had some challenging lighting situations that changed moment to moment (daylight, tungsten, daylight + tungsten, daylight + tungsten + flash, reflected colours, light temperatures all over the place), so the family got comfy on the couch and in the playroom, before later venturing out into the rainy park armed with gumboots and umbrellas.

Their kids are so close,  so affectionate with each other and just an absolute delight. There are so many photos I ended up giving Karen far more than I originally quoted. These are only a tiny sampling.
