Baby + doona + family + kisses + play + bath + dancing to the Wiggles. What more could you ask for?
This gorgeous newborn session with baby Ivy was completed in Sydney’s Inner West, in a small townhouse, on a cosy overcast day. Her parents wanted to capture all the little things they love about this season of life, with their two little girls.
Things like cuddling up in bed all together in the early morning. Things like little baby baths, and little baby cuddles. Things like dancing in the lounge room, tickling, and taking care of big sister Mischa’s dolly.
These are the little moments we can’t get back, and the moments that we can’t replicate in a studio. Genuine, heartfelt, gorgeous little newborn moments suit themselves perfectly to an unposed, documentary style.
All done and dusted in only 1.5 hours, with no toddler tears, no posing, and no worries!
Enjoy this beautiful session with a beautiful family!

COVID-19 Adaptations:Â
Thanks to advice from NSW Health coupled with the new laws regarding visitation, I am now tentatively open to taking outdoor session bookings again (hooray!) with the following safeguards:
- both myself and your family members all well, with no illness symptoms!
- making sure I’m always maintaining at least 2 metres of social distance from your family. This means shooting in open areas (front yards, backyards, and natural outdoor locations) with my longest lenses, to give you the same beautiful results as normal
- I don’t pose or manoeuvre your family (I never do!) – any adjustments to your baby’s positioning is always made by you
- rigorous hand washing and hygiene practices at all times
- minimal photographic equipment, all wiped down with antibacterial wipes before and after your session
- only one client session scheduled per week, in order to minimise public contact, and only time-sensitive sessions booked in this period.
If you have any questions about the possibility of scheduling your own gorgeous outdoor newborn session, please, don’t hesitate to contact me any time – I’m an open book, and I’m here to help!
