This is the third time I have photographed little Robbie and his family – I photographed his amazing mother Bridget while she was pregnant, being loved by her gorgeous horses (you can see it here), and then I photographed Robbie and his parents when he was only a few weeks old (you can see it here!). Horses are a running theme with Bridget’s shoots! So when I was called back to photograph Robbie again at fifteen months, in an entirely documentary family photography session, I was so happy.

The way I shoot is loose, and relaxed, and pretty much the opposite of in-your-face. Here I photographed little Robbie playing peekaboo with the glass door, playing in his treehouse, cuddling on the lounge, laughing with his grandmother, and other little everyday happinesses. Nothing elaborate, nothing posed. Just the little things his parents will want to remember when he is all grown up.

Robbie has a little sibling coming along now, and I look forward to photographing them together. I can only imagine how adorable he’ll be as a big brother, and the love at this farm will only grow.

In the Hunter Valley? Contact me now to book in a session for my June 2015 trip.
