Let me come and photograph you and your darling new arrival in your home, for your comfort, and capture some sweet memories of your newborn’s first days. You won’t find any studio lights or complicated posing techniques here – I want to capture things as they really are. These sessions tend to be a bit slow and lazy to allow for feeding and settling, but my favourite thing is to watch you do what you do best (or will, once you get the hang of it!) – parenting. Bathing, feeding, cuddling and loving – these are the things first days are made of.

There’s no family like your family, so let’s find what makes you happiest and create something gorgeous! Your natural light documentary portrait session can be taken either in your home or on location, or both. The focus of these sessions will always be a fun, laid-back experience, with no studio lighting and minimal posing, capturing beautiful moments and expressions, and the details that make your family what it is. I encourage clients to find somewhere that means something to them. I am experienced in facing challenges some photographers would balk at, including rambunctious pets and less-than-ideal weather. It needn’t be anywhere fancy; the best images come from the heart. These photographs are not about perfection, they’re about your real life, in all its beautiful, joyful glory.

Every great event needs the services of a professional and fabulous photographer on hand to record every smile, tear, and rockstar stance. Your images will be delivered on USB and will feature in your own password-protected online gallery, so you can allow your friends and guests to view them privately. While the basic pricing above applies, because every event is unique, I want to factor in travel, timing and extras, and don’t want to give you the run-around by touting a one-size-fits all price I can’t stand by.
